It’s time to move on from Covid.
Truthfully, I’m not sure it’s possible at this point, but am hopeful that we’ve not yet passed the tipping point. The last two years have further divided this country, with this event creating the Acolytes of the Pandemic on one side, and the rest of us who only want to move on with life, taking reasonable precautions as available and needed.
A good starting point to end this absurdity is to critically evaluate where we source information. I recommend starting with what you see, hear and experience directly- with your own senses. What’s happening in your town, state and workplace? This is the most reliable information, and should serve as the basis to question what else we hear from the media and the chorus of government officials, elected and not.
And question them, we should. Our Federal government, along most other English-speaking countries in the world, has consistently misrepresented the events of the last couple years, and with a little digging their reasons for doing so are apparent. What constitutes as media in this country has consistently aided and abetted the misrepresentations. We’re told “to not question the science”. My understanding of science suggests if you can’t question it, it’s not science- it’s propaganda.
Many things we’ve been told are not what they seem. Here’s an easy one, connecting a few dots: The FDA authorized the Pfizer, Moderna and J&J vaccines under an Emergency Use Authorization. In order for an EUA to be granted, there cannot be “adequate, available and approved alternative treatments available”. This is why hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin have effectively been banned in the US.
But wait- Ivermectin is for horses, and hydroxychloroquine causes heart attacks! Not quite. Ivermectin is a Nobel Prize winning drug used for many years to treat many problems. It has an incredibly positive safety profile. Many drugs humans use, such as penicillin, are used to treat other mammals, such as horses. As for heart attacks caused by hydroxychloroquine, you’d have to eat a truckload. These are but two of the storylines promoted by the national media to support the party line of Washington DC. Neither story is true. Many countries have effectively used Ivermectin. India stopped a massive surge in its tracks in 2021. Much of Africa has shown markedly low Covid infection rates, particularly where hydroxychloroquine is sold over the counter, and eaten like candy to prevent malaria. These stories aren’t told by the US media, but should be. Ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine are adequate, available and approved around the world, but not in the United States? So what is the truth? It’s easy to figure out if you follow the money.
The EUA issuance created a monopoly for Pfizer, Moderna and J&J. That, combined with their contractual zero-liability guarantees a pretty good guaranteed revenue stream, doesn’t it? A monopoly created and actively protected by the Federal government, while not reported on by the media. Always follow the money.
More- carefully evaluate the statistics various agencies throw around. Cases, cases & more cases! More attention to hospitalizations and deaths is warranted, while trying to ascertain if they’re from or with Covid. Once you dig into that data, you’re in for a surprise.
That brings us to the other source of information. Research. Do your own, evaluate what you learn and come to your own conclusions. Look at everything. I’d encourage you to look outside of the US media and your current comfort zone. Expand the horizon. Outlets such as the NY Times and NBC are promoting politically-endorsed narratives; rarely reporting the news in a factual manner.. Google can reliably present very different search results than other search engines. Check around and decide for yourself.
There is so, so much more that could be mentioned here- I’m resisting the temptation to append a list of links. Doing that would defeat the intended purpose of recommending we all return to making our decisions upon what we experience and research- get back to believing in our own judgement.
The time of running to the hospital to get tested because you were “exposed” has long passed. It’s time to get back to the tried and true practices of staying away from others if you’re sick, and visiting the doctor if you’re sick enough. You know you.
Let’s return to thinking for ourselves and acting upon what we each perceive as truth. The longer we play into the disingenuous narrative of the last two years, the less chance there is of our ever escaping it, and returning to life as it should be in America.
